The goal of the Science Preparation Alliance of Rutgers and Camden (SPARC) is to make pre-college students interested in and enthusiastic about science, especially the biological, brain, behavioral and congnitive (BBBC) sciences. SPARC's philisophy is that learning about science, particularly BBBC sciences, has a great deal to do with understanding ourselves and our daily lives. SPARC initiatives include: Summer Institute for Teachers, Summer Institute for Students, Research Mentoring, Allied Health Science Expo and Initiative for Curriculum Enhancement. For more information, call 609-225-6494. SPARC serves as the project coordinator for Camden, NJ.
