Australian curator and writer Chiara Scafidi was a resident artist at AiR Currents during 1st – 30th Sep. Chiara was here to meet artists and participate in the Chouftouhonna festival of feminist art (6,7,8,9 of September), to write about their practices within the context of intersectional feminist discourse as well as the wider social and political scene following the 2011 Arab Spring in Tunis.
At the end Chiara’s residency period, she showed a film and led a discussion on the situation of aboriginal people in Australia.
